Who is responsible

What we use and why
When you order
Your name, email address, shipping address and what you ordered. We need these to deliver your order, send you the confirmation and shipping emails, and handle returns. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you. We keep order details for 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires that.
When you pay
Payment is handled by Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam). Mollie processes your payment details; we only see the payment status and method, never your card or bank details. If you pay with Klarna, Klarna also processes your details for its own credit check, under its own privacy policy.
When you contact us or send a return request
Your name, email address, order number and message, to answer your question or handle your return. We keep these for up to 2 years after the last contact.
When you leave a review
About 10 days after your order ships, we send you one email asking how the gloves fit. That is the only review email you get for that order. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in feedback on our products; just reply if you would rather not get it. If you leave a review, we show your rating, your text, your first name with the first letter of your last name, the size and model you ordered and the month of your review on our product pages. We keep a review as long as it is on the site. Want it removed? Just email us.
When you ask to be notified about a restock
Your email address and the product you are interested in, only to email you when it is back in stock. The legal basis is your consent. We delete your address once we have sent that email, or after 12 months at the latest. Want off the list earlier? Just email us.
Who helps us
We work with a few service providers who process data on our behalf, under a processing agreement:
- Netlify: hosting of this website, receiving the forms on this site and storing reviews.
- Mollie: payments.
- Resend: sending our order, shipping and review emails.
- The postal or parcel service that delivers your order: your name and address.
Some of these providers are based outside the EU. In that case the transfer is covered by the Data Privacy Framework between the EU and the US, or by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. We never sell your data.
Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and no analytics. Your cart and the details you fill in at checkout are remembered in your own browser (local storage), so you do not lose them when you leave the page. That data stays on your device. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, not loaded from Google.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to limit its use, to object to it, or to receive it in a usable format. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@gladiatorsreborn.com; we reply within a month. Some order details we must keep for the tax authorities.
Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your own country.
